About Christine

Christine is the Founder and Clinical Director at Oasis Hong Kong Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her therapeutic practice is grounded in supporting her clients as they find a greater sense of personal empowerment and the ability to make choices toward a future they desire.

Christine's main area of focus is working with individuals to find greater meaning and purpose in their lives, especially in times of life transition or unavoidable suffering.  Her specialised training in meaningful living also supports her work with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, or thoughts of taking their own life. She also enjoys exploring questions of identity, as well as inner world strengthening to build resilience.

Some of her main modes of practice include Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Interactive Drawing Therapy, and Existential therapies including Logotherapy.

Christine is from New Zealand but has called Hong Kong home since 1996.
